JSW MG Motor India has unveiled the MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition, a limited-run variant of its popular electric vehicle, with only 300 units available nationwide. Priced at Rs 16.65 lakh (ex-showroom), or an attractive Rs 9.99 lakh with the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, this special edition introduces striking aesthetic enhancements and has begun arriving at dealerships ahead of the Diwali festive season. Bookings are open, with deliveries set to commence on October 15, 2025, coinciding with the model’s first anniversary and celebrating 40,000 units sold.
The Windsor EV Inspire Edition stands out with a dual-tone Pearl White and Starry Black exterior, complemented by all-black alloy wheels with rose gold accents, black ORVMs, and exclusive Inspire branding. The front grille and bumper corner protectors feature Rose Gold design highlights, included in a premium accessory pack. Inside, the cabin exudes sophistication with Sangria Red and Black leather upholstery, Inspire-embroidered headrests, and gold detailing. Additional touches include themed mats, cushions, rear window sunshades, and a leather key cover. Optional upgrades, such as a Skylight Infinity View glass roof and wireless illuminated sill plates, are available at MG dealerships.
Powered by a 38 kWh battery and a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor driving the front wheels, the Inspire Edition delivers 134 bhp and 200 Nm of torque, offering a claimed range of 331 kilometers on a single charge. With DC fast charging, the battery can reach 80% capacity in approximately 40 minutes, ensuring practicality for urban and long-distance travel.
