Mahindra Launches Cinema-Grade Sound and Infinity Roof in Its Most Luxurious Electric SUV Yet

Mahindra's XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition offers premium interiors, Dolby Atmos sound, and a 500 km real-world range.

Mahindra has launched the XUV9e Cineluxe Edition in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 29.35 lakh, offering a luxurious and feature-packed variant of its flagship Electric Origin SUV. Based on the XEV 9e Pack Three variant, the special edition is designed to blend comfort, craftsmanship, and advanced technology, aiming to provide an indulgent driving experience without compromising performance or range. Bookings for the Cineluxe Edition begin on March 2, 2026, with deliveries scheduled from March 10.

The exterior of the Cineluxe Edition features new satin black and satin white colour options, complemented by refined styling cues that enhance the SUV’s premium and modern electric identity. Mahindra has focused on subtle design enhancements to differentiate this edition from the standard XEV 9e, ensuring the SUV stands out while retaining the signature styling language of the brand’s electric portfolio.

Inside, the cabin boasts a lounge-like atmosphere with Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black smooth-grain leatherette. The dashboard is dominated by a coast-to-coast triple HD display, while a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos delivers immersive sound. Additional interior highlights include an Infinity Roof and ambient lighting system offering over 16 million hues, creating a sophisticated and customisable environment for occupants.

Innovative features such as Camp, Keep, and PawPal HVAC modes; custom drive modes; digital key; Secure360 Pro; and personalised user profiles further reinforce the SUV’s focus on convenience and intelligent adaptability to driver preferences.

Under the hood, the Cineluxe Edition is powered by a 79 kWh battery, delivering over 500 km of real-world range. Mahindra emphasises that the SUV maintains a composed and refined driving experience for both city commuting and long highway trips. Performance and practicality remain key elements, ensuring that luxury enhancements do not compromise efficiency or usability.

With the launch of the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition, Mahindra aims to position the SUV as a premium electric offering in India, combining style, comfort, and advanced technology. Early bookings and delivery timelines indicate strong confidence in consumer demand for high-end electric SUVs, and the special edition is expected to appeal to buyers seeking both luxury and sustainability in their vehicle choice.
