Kawasaki India Launches 2026 Ninja 1100SX with New Black-Gold Livery

Kawasaki introduces updated sport-tourer with fresh color at unchanged price.

Kawasaki India has officially introduced the 2026 model year Ninja 1100SX to the domestic market, strategically retaining the competitive ex-showroom pricing of Rs 14.42 lakh while exclusively debuting an eye-catching new black and gold color combination that effectively supplants the longstanding black and green palette previously synonymous with this versatile sport-touring motorcycle.

Remaining entirely faithful to its mechanical blueprint from the prior iteration, the 2026 Ninja 1100SX continues to be powered by the refined 1,099cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine, engineered to generate a robust 136 horsepower and 113 Nm of peak torque, with particular emphasis on delivering potent and accessible mid-range performance ideally suited to a wide array of real-world riding demands and fully compliant with prevailing E20 fuel compatibility standards mandated by regulatory authorities.

The structural foundation comprises a sophisticated lightweight aluminum perimeter frame harmoniously integrated with premium fully adjustable Showa suspension components at both the front and rear ends, ensuring precise handling characteristics, while braking duties are confidently managed by high-performance Kawasaki-branded Tokico radial calipers supported by mandatory dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety across varying conditions.

The comprehensive electronic rider assistance package, seamlessly carried forward from the 2025 specification, encompasses four distinct riding modes—namely Rain, Road, Sport, and a comprehensively customizable Rider setting—that intelligently modulate critical parameters including power delivery, traction control intervention levels, and throttle response sensitivity, all interfaced through a vibrant 4.3-inch full-color TFT instrument display featuring smartphone integration capabilities via the dedicated Kawasaki Rideology application.

Complementing these attributes are cutting-edge technological inclusions such as a sophisticated six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit that enables advanced functionalities like cornering-aware ABS and lean-sensitive traction control, alongside a seamless bidirectional quickshifter facilitating effortless clutchless upshifts and downshifts, with the refreshed 2026 edition positioned for concurrent availability alongside residual inventory of the 2025 model to accommodate diverse buyer preferences in color selection.
