Ferrari Amalfi Spider Unveiled: 640 HP Twin-Turbo V8, 320 kmph Top Speed, 13.5-Second Roof
The Ferrari Amalfi Spider debuts with a twin-turbo V8, 640 HP and a 13.5-second fabric roof.
The Ferrari Amalfi Spider has been unveiled by Ferrari as the convertible version of the Amalfi grand tourer, which succeeds the Ferrari Roma. Designed as a 2+2-seater grand tourer, the Amalfi Spider retains the elegant two-door styling of the coupe while adding a soft-top convertible roof, giving drivers the option of open-air driving without sacrificing performance.
Under the hood, the Amalfi Spider is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 640 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. Thanks to this setup, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of around 320 km/h. Although the Spider weighs 1,556 kg, which is about 86 kg heavier than the coupe, it still matches the coupe’s 0-100 km/h acceleration time. Ferrari has also equipped the car with brake-by-wire technology and an active rear spoiler, which can generate up to 110 kg of downforce at 250 km/h for better stability.
A major highlight of the Amalfi Spider is its fabric convertible roof, available in four colour options. The roof can open in 13.5 seconds and folds down to a thickness of 220 mm, allowing the car to maintain good practicality. With the roof down, the boot offers 172 litres of luggage space, while with the roof up it expands to 255 litres. Ferrari says the five-layer fabric roof is designed to match the noise and vibration levels of its hardtop models, ensuring a comfortable driving experience even with the top closed. The Spider also features a special Rosso Tramonto paint option, which creates a shimmering visual effect.

Inside, the cabin maintains the 2+2 seating layout and comes equipped with modern technology. The interior features a 10.25-inch central touchscreen, a 15.6-inch digital driver display, and an 8.8-inch passenger display. The steering wheel uses physical controls, and the design continues Ferrari’s driver-focused cockpit approach. Overall, the Amalfi Spider combines luxury grand-touring comfort with high-performance engineering, making it one of the brand’s most stylish open-top sports cars.
