Aston Martin AMB 002 Roadster: Titanium Frame, 130bhp Engine And 300-Unit Run

The Aston Martin AMB 002 Roadster is the first road-legal motorcycle developed through the partnership between Aston Martin and Brough Superior. It follows the track-only AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro, carrying forward the design philosophy established by the two British brands. Production of the new motorcycle will be limited to 300 units, with a carbon-fibre body, compact proportions and exposed mechanical components.

The AMB 002 Roadster features several styling elements inspired by Aston Martin's road cars and hypercars. Its redesigned side strake extends into the headlamp housing, while the twin exhausts draw on design cues from the automaker's four-wheeled models. Rear light blades also take inspiration from Aston Martin's hypercars, while the motorcycle comes with keyless operation, a backlit ignition button and leather seat pads.

At the centre of the motorcycle's construction is a titanium frame machined from a single billet. The frame forms the structural backbone of the AMB 002 Roadster and weighs 5 kg. The motorcycle has a claimed kerb weight of 190 kg and uses carbon-fibre body panels and fuel tank components, combining lightweight construction with the distinctive design language associated with the collaboration.

The motorcycle is equipped with Brough Superior's double-wishbone 'Fior fork' front suspension system. The setup separates steering and braking forces while maintaining the geometry of the front end. The arrangement is part of the engineering package developed for the road-focused motorcycle, complementing its compact construction and performance-oriented mechanical components.

Power comes from a 1,083cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine producing 130 hp and 110 Nm of torque. The engine has been tuned to deliver strong performance across the low and mid-range while continuing to provide power at higher engine speeds. Aston Martin has positioned the AMB 002 Roadster as a road-focused motorcycle combining performance with the luxury design approach of the brand.

Stefano Saporetti, Director of Brand Diversification at Aston Martin, described the partnership with Brough Superior as a long-term collaboration that has expanded the company's design language beyond cars. He said the progression from the first limited-run motorcycle to the current portfolio demonstrates continued interest in Aston Martin's design combined with Brough Superior's engineering expertise. With production capped at 300 units, the AMB 002 Roadster remains a limited-production addition to the partnership's motorcycle line-up.
