Vivo X300 Series Launching in India on December 2 With Zeiss Cameras and New Red Edition
Vivo confirms India launch of its X300 flagship phones with advanced camera tech.
Smartphone maker Vivo has officially announced that the much-anticipated Vivo X300 series will launch in India on December 2 at 12 PM IST. The series, which includes the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro, brings the brand’s most advanced imaging technology yet. Both models come equipped with Zeiss-tuned triple rear cameras and are set to offer professional-grade photography capabilities. Adding to the excitement, Vivo has teased a special India-exclusive red colourway designed specifically for local buyers.
The Vivo X300 lineup was first launched in China on October 13, followed by a global rollout a few weeks later. The upcoming Indian debut marks the brand’s biggest flagship launch of the year. While Vivo has not confirmed if the event will be a grand showcase or a digital reveal, fans can expect to watch the launch live via the company’s social media channels and official YouTube stream.
One highlight of the new series is its integration with the Zeiss Telephoto Extender Kit — a cutting-edge accessory including Zeiss 2.35x teleconverter lenses, offering extended zoom without sacrificing image clarity. The accessory works in tandem with the phones’ dedicated Teleconverter Mode inside the camera app, supported by NFC for instant recognition and setup. This feature is expected to appeal to professional photographers and enthusiasts alike.

Under the hood, both phones will feature the newly developed 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, combined with the Pro Imaging VS1 and V3+ imaging chips for advanced visual processing. The devices will run on the latest Android 16-based OriginOS 6, ensuring faster performance and improved battery optimization. This combination of powerful hardware and refined software points to a significant boost in camera quality, imaging speed, and power efficiency.
In terms of optics, the Vivo X300 Pro is expected to impress with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel HPB APO telephoto camera with high-precision optical zoom. The standard Vivo X300 will also feature premium imaging, equipped with a 200-megapixel HPB main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel Sony telephoto sensor, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Both models will sport a 50-megapixel front-facing camera for high-quality selfies and video calls. With this lineup, Vivo aims to redefine mobile photography and challenge the dominance of existing flagship competitors in the market.
