Vivo T5 Pro India Launch Tipped for Mid-April; Expected to Start Under ₹35,000
Vivo T5 Pro tipped for April launch with upgraded specs.
Vivo is reportedly preparing to launch its next T series smartphone in India, the Vivo T5 Pro, with leaks revealing key specifications, expected price, and a potential launch timeline. The new handset is expected to succeed the Vivo T4 Pro, which debuted last year, and may bring notable upgrades in battery, display, and overall performance.
According to a report by Smartprix citing tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), the Vivo T5 Pro could launch in India by mid-April, positioning it ahead of the spring upgrade cycle when smartphone makers often introduce new mid-range devices. The handset is expected to be priced just above Rs. 30,000, likely remaining under Rs. 35,000, putting it in direct competition with devices like the Nothing Phone 4a.
The Vivo T5 Pro is said to come in Glacier Blue and Cosmic Black colour options and may feature a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Powering the device could be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, running on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box. The combination suggests a focus on smooth performance and high refresh rate gaming or multimedia experiences.

Photography is expected to be a highlight, with the T5 Pro tipped to include a 50-megapixel primary rear camera using the Sony IMX882 sensor, supporting 4K video recording. Additional camera details remain unconfirmed, but the focus on a high-end sensor indicates Vivo’s intention to enhance imaging capabilities over its predecessor.
The handset may also pack a substantial 9,020mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support. Reports suggest that the device could meet IP68 and IP69+ ratings, providing protection against dust, water, and high-pressure sprays, signaling a step up in durability compared with previous models.
By comparison, the Vivo T4 Pro launched in India in August 2025 with a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera, and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W charging. It also featured a 16,470 sq mm 10-layer VC cooling system and IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. The Vivo T5 Pro appears poised to build on these features with larger battery capacity, improved display, and enhanced durability.
