Samsung, Poco, Redmi Lead Budget 5G Phones With 6,000mAh-Plus Batteries

Five budget 5G phones under Rs 15,000 offer long battery life.

Smartphone buyers in India looking for affordable 5G devices with long battery life now have several options priced below Rs. 15,000. As larger 6,000mAh and 6,300mAh batteries become increasingly common in the budget segment, models from Samsung, Lava, Oppo, Poco and Redmi are offering a combination of extended usage, high-refresh-rate displays and 5G connectivity at competitive prices.

The Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G is one of the leading options, featuring a 6,000mAh battery, a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It runs Android 16-based One UI 8 and is promised six years of operating system and security updates. The phone also offers a 50-megapixel main camera and starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

The Lava Bold N2 5G is another battery-focused option with a 6,000mAh unit and support for 18W fast charging. It features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by a Unisoc T8200 processor. The handset includes 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, a 13-megapixel main camera and IP64-rated dust and water resistance, with the sole variant priced at Rs. 12,999.

The Oppo K13x 5G combines a 6,000mAh battery with faster 45W wired charging, making it suitable for users who want both long battery life and shorter charging times. It features a 6.67-inch 120Hz LCD display, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and up to 8GB RAM. Prices begin at Rs. 11,999, while the top 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version is available for Rs. 14,999.

The Poco C85x 5G offers one of the largest batteries in the group at 6,300mAh, with the company claiming up to two days of usage. It has a large 6.9-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a Unisoc T8300 chipset and a 32-megapixel main camera. The phone supports 15W charging and 7.5W reverse charging, with prices starting at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model.

The Redmi 15A 5G also features a 6,300mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging and 7.5W reverse charging. It runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3, while the company has promised up to four years of Android updates and six years of security patches. With prices below Rs. 15,000, these five smartphones offer buyers a range of choices depending on whether they prioritise faster charging, software support, camera performance or maximum battery capacity.
