Samsung Galaxy A27 5G Renders Leak Again, Suggest 5,000mAh Battery

Leaked renders suggest large battery for upcoming Samsung phone.

Samsung is reportedly preparing to expand its mid-range smartphone lineup with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A27 5G, as fresh leaks have revealed new design renders and key specifications of the device. The smartphone, which has not yet been officially announced by the company, is expected to succeed the Galaxy A26 5G and continue Samsung’s focus on balancing performance, design, and affordability in the competitive mid-range segment.

Recent leaked renders, reportedly shared by industry sources, suggest that the Galaxy A27 5G will be available in three colour options—Pink, Navy Blue, and Graphite Black. The design appears to feature a flat display with slim bezels and a slightly thicker chin at the bottom. A centrally placed punch-hole cutout is expected to house the front camera, giving the device a modern and minimal front appearance similar to recent Galaxy A-series models.

At the rear, the smartphone is tipped to feature a triple-camera setup arranged vertically in the top-left corner. The sensors are placed within a pill-shaped module, accompanied by an LED flash. Promotional materials associated with the leak also suggest that Samsung may continue its focus on AI-driven features, with indications of a dedicated GPU and NPU support, alongside Google’s Circle to Search functionality.

In terms of hardware, the Galaxy A27 5G is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, although Samsung has not confirmed this officially. The device is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery, similar to its predecessor, aiming to deliver extended battery life suitable for daily usage. Additional reports suggest a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

On the camera front, the smartphone may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter at the rear. A 12-megapixel front-facing camera is also expected for selfies and video calls. Software-wise, rumours indicate that the device could launch with Android 16-based One UI 8.5 and may receive up to six major OS upgrades along with six years of security updates, aligning with Samsung’s expanding software support strategy.

While the Galaxy A27 5G remains unconfirmed, the leaked details suggest that Samsung is positioning it as a strong contender in the mid-range 5G smartphone market, with emphasis on design refinement, long battery life, and extended software support.
