Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi 15C 5G in India on December 3, expanding its budget 5G lineup with a device focused on long battery life and smooth performance. Priced aggressively from ₹12,499, the phone targets users seeking reliable daily performance without breaking the bank. Sales will begin on December 11 across mi.com, Amazon, and offline retail partners.
At the heart of the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, a capable 6nm chipset that delivers solid 5G connectivity and efficient power management. The phone ships with Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, making it one of the most affordable devices in India to run the newest Android version out of the box. Xiaomi promises two major OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
The highlight remains its massive 6000mAh battery, supported by 33W fast charging and even 10W reverse charging capability — a rare feature at this price.
