Price Hike Alert: Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, G35, G57 Power Costs More
Motorola raises prices of Edge 60 Fusion, G35, G57 Power.
Motorola is reportedly increasing the prices of several of its smartphone models in India, according to industry tipster Sanju Choudhary. The revision, which affects multiple storage variants, includes the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, as well as entry-level Moto G-series devices such as the Moto G35 and Moto G57 Power. The price adjustments reflect broader trends in the electronics market, where rising component costs are affecting manufacturers’ pricing strategies.
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, launched in April 2025 as a mid-range handset, is said to have received a Rs. 2,000 increase across all storage variants. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model has allegedly risen from Rs. 20,999 to Rs. 22,999. Similarly, the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants, originally priced at Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 24,999, are now reportedly listed at Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 26,999, respectively.
Entry-level devices in the Moto G-series have also seen price revisions. The Moto G35’s 4GB + 128GB variant is said to have increased from Rs. 11,999 to Rs. 12,499, while the 8GB + 128GB model reportedly rose from Rs. 12,999 to Rs. 13,999. The Moto G57 Power has similarly seen its 8GB + 128GB variant’s price increase from Rs. 14,999 to Rs. 15,999. These updates have been reflected on Motorola India’s official website.

Industry analysts suggest that sustained aggressive pricing may be challenging under current market conditions. Rising costs of components, particularly DRAM and memory chips driven by demand from AI data centers, have put pressure on manufacturers’ margins. While it is unclear whether these factors directly caused the price revisions, the trend aligns with similar adjustments by other smartphone brands such as iQOO, OnePlus, Samsung, and Vivo.
Gadgets 360 has reached out to Motorola for comment on the alleged price hike. The company’s response is awaited and will be updated when available. Consumers are advised to check official listings before making purchases, as prices may vary across different models and variants.
The development underscores the ongoing impact of global supply-chain dynamics on the Indian smartphone market, signaling that both mid-range and entry-level segments may see further price volatility in the coming months.
