Poco has expanded its M-series lineup in India with the launch of the Poco M7 Plus 5G, a budget-friendly smartphone boasting a massive 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor. Priced competitively under ₹15,000, the device promises exceptional battery life, smooth performance, and a high-refresh-rate display, positioning it as a strong contender in the affordable 5G segment. The smartphone joins the existing Poco M7 5G and M7 Pro 5G models, with sales commencing on Flipkart from August 19, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. IST.
The Poco M7 Plus 5G is available in two variants: the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model priced at ₹13,999 and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant at ₹14,999. It comes in three color options—Aqua Blue, Carbon Black, and Chrome Silver. Launch offers include a ₹1,000 instant discount for HDFC, SBI, or ICICI bank card users, or a ₹1,000 exchange bonus on eligible devices, enhancing its value proposition.
The smartphone features a 6.9-inch Full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, 288Hz touch sampling rate, and 850 nits peak brightness. The screen, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, holds triple TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free operation, and circadian-friendly standards, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience. With a 91% screen-to-body ratio, it is touted as the largest display in its segment.

Running Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0, the device is promised two major OS upgrades and four years of security updates, ensuring long-term software support.
For photography, the handset sports a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an unspecified secondary sensor, alongside an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The device remains slim at 8.4mm and weighs 217g, with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Additional features include 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C, an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a single speaker.
