Motorola Unveils Edge 60 Neo and G06 Series with Game-Changing Features

Motorola launches AI-powered smartphones with massive batteries at IFA 2025.

At IFA 2025 in Berlin, Motorola introduced three new smartphones—the Motorola Edge 60 Neo, Moto G06, and Moto G06 Power—showcasing advanced technology and stylish designs tailored to mid-range and budget-conscious consumers. Unveiled during Lenovo’s Innovation World event, these devices offer robust features, from AI-powered cameras to record-breaking battery capacities, though pricing and availability details remain unconfirmed. Available in vibrant Pantone-certified colorways, the lineup includes the Edge 60 Neo in Frostbite, Grisaille, and Poinciana, the Moto G06 in Arabesque, Tapestry, and Tendril, and the Moto G06 Power in Laurel Oak and Tapestry finishes.

Motorola Edge 60 Neo: Compact Powerhouse

The Motorola Edge 60 Neo stands out as a compact mid-range device, measuring 154.11×71.24×8.09mm and weighing just 174.5g. It features a 6.36-inch 1.5K (1,200×2,670 pixels) pOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB storage, it runs Android 15-based Hello UI. The triple rear camera system includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 700C sensor with OIS, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide/macro lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom, alongside a 32-megapixel front camera, all supporting 4K video.

The Edge 60 Neo’s 5,200mAh battery supports 68W TurboPower charging and 15W wireless charging. It boasts MIL-STD-810H durability, IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, and connectivity options like 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C. Security is ensured with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Moto AI features, including Photo Enhancement Engine and Adaptive Stabilization, enhance its photography capabilities.

Moto G06 and G06 Power: Budget-Friendly Giants

The Moto G06 and Moto G06 Power cater to budget users with a 6.88-inch HD+ (1640×720 pixels) LCD display, 120Hz refresh rate, 600 nits brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Both are powered by the MediaTek Helio G81-Extreme SoC, with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB storage, and microSD support up to 1TB. Running Android 15-based Hello UI, they feature a 50-megapixel main rear camera with 4K video support and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The Moto G06 has a 5,200mAh battery with 10W charging, while the G06 Power sets a segment record with a 7,000mAh battery and 18W charging, promising up to 1,000 charge cycles with 80% capacity retention. Both support dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, USB-C, NFC (select regions), Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
