Lava Shark 2 4G Debuts in India at ₹6,999 with 50MP Camera and 120Hz Display

Lava has launched the Shark 2 4G in India, a budget-friendly successor to the Lava Shark released in March 2025. Priced at ₹6,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, the handset is available in Aurora Gold and Eclipse Grey. It is now on sale through offline retail stores across the country, with Lava offering doorstep after-sales service.
The device runs Android 15 out of the box and is promised one Android OS upgrade and two years of security updates. It features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch cutout for the front camera. Powered by the octa-core Unisoc T7250 chipset, it supports virtual RAM expansion up to 8GB using unused storage.
Camera duties are handled by a 50-megapixel AI-backed rear sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera. The phone carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. A 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging via USB Type-C powers the device, though a 10W charger is included in the box.
