iPhone 18 Pro Lineup Expected To Launch With Stable Global Pricing
Analyst suggests iPhone 18 Pro series may launch at similar prices despite rising component costs globally.
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September 2026, alongside what reports suggest could be a new foldable iPhone model, potentially branded as the “iPhone Fold” or “iPhone Ultra.” While the company has not officially confirmed any of these devices or their pricing, recent analyst projections have sparked discussion about how Apple may position its next premium lineup in a competitive global smartphone market.
According to noted analyst Jeff Pu, Apple may adopt a relatively stable pricing strategy for the iPhone 18 Pro series despite rising component costs, particularly for memory (RAM). He suggests that Apple could keep prices largely unchanged compared to the iPhone 17 Pro lineup, or introduce only minimal increases. This approach, if accurate, would reflect Apple’s strategy of maintaining strong demand in its high-end segment while managing production cost pressures through supplier negotiations and internal cost balancing.
The analyst also notes that Apple’s large-scale manufacturing and supply chain leverage give it significant bargaining power compared to most Android competitors. This allows the company to potentially absorb rising component costs without fully passing them on to consumers. Savings may also be achieved through optimisations in other hardware areas, including display components and camera system adjustments, helping maintain overall pricing stability.

Based on these projections, the expected starting price for the iPhone 18 Pro in the United States is around $1,099 for the 256GB variant, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max may begin at approximately $1,199. In the United Kingdom, prices are anticipated at £1,099 and £1,199 respectively, while in India the models may start at ₹134,900 for the Pro and ₹149,900 for the Pro Max. These figures remain speculative and are based on current industry estimates rather than official announcements.
In Canada, the iPhone 18 Pro series is expected to be priced from CAD 1,599 for the Pro and CAD 1,749 for the Pro Max, while in the United Arab Emirates, projected starting prices are AED 4,699 and AED 5,099 respectively. Analysts caution that these figures may still change depending on currency fluctuations, import duties, and Apple’s final pricing strategy at launch.
Overall, while anticipation is building around Apple’s next-generation flagship devices, the company has not yet confirmed any specifications, launch timeline, or pricing details. As with previous generations, final pricing is likely to be revealed at Apple’s official September 2026 launch event, where the company typically unveils its full iPhone lineup.
