Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra CAD Renders Reveal Dual Camera, S Pen Strip

Leaked renders reveal Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra's design and specifications.

Leaked CAD renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra have surfaced online, providing an early look at the flagship tablet ahead of its expected launch later this year. While Samsung has not officially confirmed the device, the renders suggest the company will retain much of the design language introduced with last year's Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The premium tablet is expected to headline Samsung's next-generation Galaxy Tab S12 lineup, which is also likely to include the standard Galaxy Tab S12 and Galaxy Tab S12+ models.

The leaked renders, shared by tipster Steve H. McFly (OnLeaks) in collaboration with UK publication Smartphone Checker, show the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra in a grey finish with only minor cosmetic changes. The front panel retains a slim-bezel design with a small notch at the top, which is expected to house the front-facing camera. On the rear, the tablet appears to feature a dual-camera setup with individual lens rings, accompanied by an LED flash positioned below the camera module.

According to the leak, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will measure 326.34 x 208.46 x 5.12 mm, matching the dimensions of its predecessor. The tablet is expected to retain the 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, continuing Samsung's focus on large-screen productivity and entertainment. The renders also reveal a magnetic strip for S Pen charging on the back and a three-pin pogo connector for attaching compatible accessories such as keyboard covers.

On the hardware front, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, succeeding the Dimensity 9400 processor used in the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The device is expected to ship with Android 17 running Samsung's One UI 9.0, along with at least 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is also rumoured to pack an 11,600mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging, although these specifications remain unconfirmed by Samsung.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Tab S12 series in September 2026, following the company's annual launch cycle. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, introduced in September last year, debuted in India with a starting price of Rs. 1,10,999 and featured a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, along with a 12-megapixel front camera.

As with all pre-launch leaks, the reported design and specifications should be treated with caution until Samsung makes an official announcement. However, the latest renders indicate that the company may focus on refining performance and software rather than introducing significant design changes. More details regarding pricing, availability, and additional features are expected to emerge as the anticipated launch date approaches.
