OnePlus N6x India Launch Teased Soon After OnePlus N6 Debut
Another affordable OnePlus smartphone appears set for India.
OnePlus has officially teased the launch of the OnePlus N6x in India, marking the second smartphone in its newly introduced entry-level N series. The announcement comes just weeks after the debut of the OnePlus N6, which was unveiled on June 30 as the first device in the lineup. While the company has not disclosed the official launch date or detailed specifications of the upcoming handset, a dedicated microsite has gone live, confirming that the OnePlus N6x will be available for purchase through Amazon India upon its release.
The teaser suggests that OnePlus is expanding its affordable smartphone portfolio by strengthening the N series, which now serves as the company's most budget-friendly lineup below the Nord range. Although OnePlus has remained tight-lipped about the handset's hardware and pricing, industry tipster Yogesh Brar has indicated that the OnePlus N6x is expected to debut with specifications and features similar to existing models. More details are likely to be revealed by the company as the launch date approaches.
The OnePlus N6, which introduced the new series in India, is currently priced from Rs. 22,999 for the base variant featuring 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is available through Amazon and the OnePlus India online store in Fresh Mint and Midnight Green colour options. The smartphone is aimed at users seeking long battery life and reliable everyday performance, positioning itself as an affordable alternative within the company's smartphone portfolio.

The OnePlus N6 features a 6.75-inch HD LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex processor, which OnePlus claims delivers an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 615,800 points. The handset is equipped with an 8,000mAh battery supporting 45W wired fast charging and 6.5W reverse wired charging, with the company claiming it can deliver up to three days of battery life under typical usage conditions. It also carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
In the camera department, the OnePlus N6 offers a 50-megapixel rear camera with support for up to 10x digital zoom, while an 8-megapixel front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls. As anticipation builds for the OnePlus N6x, consumers and industry observers will be watching closely to see whether the new model introduces meaningful upgrades or largely retains the specifications of its predecessor. The official launch is expected to provide greater clarity on pricing, features and the company's strategy for the entry-level smartphone segment in India.
