Moto Buds 2 Plus Renders Confirm Vertical Design Bose Sound Partnership
Leaked renders of Moto Buds 2 Plus show vertical case design, new colours, Bose branding.
Motorola appears to be preparing a new addition to its true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds lineup, with leaked renders suggesting the launch of the Moto Buds 2 Plus. The images, which surfaced online via noted tipster Evan Blass, hint at an updated charging case design, new colour options, and the continuation of Motorola’s audio partnership with Bose. However, the company has not yet officially confirmed the product or announced a launch timeline.
According to the leaked renders, the Moto Buds 2 Plus feature stem-style earbuds with silicone ear tips, housed inside an oval, pebble-shaped charging case. Unlike the current Moto Buds+, which store the earbuds horizontally, the new design appears to place them vertically inside the case. The front of the case carries the Motorola batwing logo along with “Sound by Bose” branding, indicating that Bose’s tuning and audio expertise will remain part of the offering.
The earbuds themselves appear largely similar to the previous generation, with no major external redesign visible in the images. The changes seem focused on the charging case layout rather than the earbuds’ overall shape or form factor. This suggests Motorola may be aiming for incremental refinement rather than a complete visual overhaul.

The leak also reveals two colour options for the Moto Buds 2 Plus. One variant appears in white with a light blue interior lining, while the other is shown in dark blue with a contrasting blue-grey interior. In both cases, the earbuds match the exterior colour of the charging case, offering a coordinated look.
Motorola has not shared any official specifications for the Moto Buds 2 Plus. Pricing details are also unavailable, though the Moto Buds+ debuted in the premium segment at Rs. 9,999. Industry watchers expect the upcoming model to be positioned in a similar price range.
The original Moto Buds+ launched globally in April 2024, followed by an India release in May, featuring dual dynamic drivers, active noise cancellation, and Dolby audio support. Until Motorola makes an official announcement, details surrounding the Moto Buds 2 Plus remain based on leaks, with more clarity expected closer to launch.
