Insta360 Enters Pro Webcam Space With 4K AI And Gimbal Tracking
Insta360 unveils the Link 2 Pro and Link 2C Pro webcams with 4K video, AI tracking, dual microphones, and creator-focused features.
Insta360 has expanded its lineup of AI-powered webcams with the launch of the Insta360 Link 2 Pro and Insta360 Link 2C Pro, two advanced 4K models designed to deliver professional-grade video and audio quality for content creators, educators, remote workers, and streamers. Both webcams feature a large 1/1.3-inch sensor with dual native ISO (100-3200), HDR support, and phase detection autofocus, enabling cleaner low-light performance, stable exposure in mixed lighting, and sharp focus down to 12 cm. They support 4K video recording at 30 fps in both landscape and portrait orientations, along with higher frame rates (up to 60 fps) at 1080p and 720p resolutions.
The key difference between the two models lies in their tracking capabilities and physical design. The Insta360 Link 2 Pro incorporates a 2-axis gimbal for smooth, AI-driven subject tracking, offering head, half-body, and full-body framing modes, custom tracking zones, and privacy pause features. In contrast, the Insta360 Link 2C Pro adopts a fixed-body design and relies on intelligent auto-framing with adaptive zoom to keep subjects or small groups centered. Both models share an f/1.9 aperture lens with a 24mm full-frame equivalent focal length, an 83.9-degree diagonal field of view, and up to 4x digital zoom.
Audio performance is identical across both models, featuring a dual-microphone array (one omnidirectional and one directional) with beamforming technology and AI noise reduction. Users can select from four audio modes—Standard, Original, Wide, and Focus—to suit different environments and use cases.

Both webcams come equipped with a comprehensive suite of smart features, including gesture controls, scene presets, Smart Whiteboard mode, DeskView, virtual backgrounds, background blur, green screen support, portrait video, and GPU-accelerated natural bokeh. They integrate seamlessly with tools like Elgato Stream Deck, Insta360 Wave microphones, and the Insta360 Link Controller software, which includes the Insta360 InSight AI meeting assistant for enhanced productivity.
Connectivity is handled via USB-C (with 5V/1A power input), and both models include a magnetic mount for easy positioning. They are compatible with Windows and macOS systems.
Pricing and availability have been announced as follows: the Insta360 Link 2 Pro is priced at $249.99 (approximately Rs. 22,500), while the more compact Insta360 Link 2C Pro is available for $199.99 (approximately Rs. 18,000). Both models are currently on sale globally through the Insta360 Official Store, Amazon, and authorized retail partners.
With these launches, Insta360 continues to bridge the gap between consumer webcams and professional-grade camera setups, offering advanced AI features, superior image quality, and versatile usability at competitive price points. The Link 2 Pro, which has already received a 2026 CES Picks Award in the TWICE category, stands out for users needing dynamic tracking, while the Link 2C Pro provides excellent value for those prioritizing simplicity and cost.
