Zinc Football Girls Academy Win Rajasthan Women's Title In Debut Season, Earn IWL-2 Promotion

Zinc Football Girls Academy clinches the Rajasthan Women's title in their debut season.

Zinc Football Academy (ZFA) created history by winning the Rajasthan League Senior Women's A Division 2025-26 title in its debut season. The young side sealed the championship with a commanding 8-0 victory over Real Jaipur FC in their final league match, securing promotion to the next level of women's football competition, the Indian Women's League 2 (IWL-2).

The triumph marks a remarkable achievement for the Zawar-based academy, which launched its girls' football program only in 2025. The victory also completed a memorable double for the academy after its men's team captured the Rajasthan League Senior Men's A Division title earlier in the season. Notably, ZFA's women's squad was the youngest team in the competition, with an average age of just 15 years and 8 months.

Organized by the Rajasthan Football Association, the tournament featured five leading teams from across the state. ZFA dominated the competition, collecting 21 points from eight matches through seven victories and one defeat. The team scored 24 goals while conceding only five, underlining its strength at both ends of the field throughout the campaign.

In the title-deciding clash against Real Jaipur FC, midfielder Antra Dolui delivered a standout performance with a hat-trick, while winger Dangi Mardi added two goals. Priyanka, Joha, and Bindiya Kumari Meena also found the net as ZFA cruised to an emphatic 8-0 victory. Several local talents from Zawar, including Geet Meena, Bindiya Kumari Meena, Manisha Patel, and Savita Kalbeliya, played crucial roles in the academy's successful season.

The state title is the latest addition to an impressive debut year for the academy's girls' program, which has already won the Doon Cup, Asmita League Cup, and DAV U-19 Nationals. Rajasthan Football Association Secretary Dilip Singh Shekhawat praised the achievement, describing the young squad as the future of football in Rajasthan and India. Established in 2017 under Hindustan Zinc Limited's sports initiative, Zinc Football Academy has trained more than 5,000 young footballers and continues to develop talent from rural India through world-class facilities and holistic development programs.
