Ricky Ponting Reveals He Endorsed Shreyas Iyer To BCCI Selectors For T20I Captaincy

Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting has revealed that he strongly backed Shreyas Iyer for a leadership role with the Indian cricket team, saying he repeatedly endorsed the batter to national selectors and believed he possessed the qualities needed to captain the side.
