Ganguly's appearance carries particular significance because of his long association with Delhi Capitals.
The former India captain has previously been involved with the franchise in a leadership capacity, while Yuvraj has increasingly been linked with coaching and player-development roles since stepping away from international cricket. Their presence together at the trials has therefore fuelled speculation that the franchise could be considering a significant reset of its coaching and support staff before the 2027 season.
