IPL 2026: Punjab Kings Mean Business — Iyer and Wadhera Take Charge in High-Voltage SRH Chase

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 clash between Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad turned into a high-scoring thriller, with Punjab mounting a strong chase after a dominant start by Hyderabad earlier in the match. Arya was particularly destructive, smashing a 16-ball half-century and scoring 57 runs off just 20 balls, while Prabhsimran contributed a brisk 51 off 25 deliveries.

The opening pair propelled Punjab to 93 without loss during the powerplay, setting a solid platform for the chase. Their fearless approach ensured that the required run rate remained within reach, putting pressure back on the Hyderabad bowlers. Even after their dismissals, Punjab maintained momentum, crossing the 150-run mark with key contributions from the middle order.
