In the previous edition of the Indian Premier League, Krunal played a key role for RCB with the ball and delivered consistent performances. He finished as the team’s second-highest wicket-taker, picking up 17 wickets in 15 matches at an average of 22.29. He was only behind Josh Hazlewood, who claimed 22 wickets during the season. His bowling played a crucial role in maintaining pressure on opposition teams. These performances further established his importance in the squad.
One of his standout performances came in the IPL 2025 final against Punjab Kings, where he delivered an economical spell of 2/17.
