Sunrisers Hyderabad opener Abhishek Sharma has credited former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh for playing a major role in shaping his cricketing mindset, saying the veteran helped prepare him mentally for high-pressure matches. Abhishek, who has been one of the standout performers in the ongoing Indian Premier League season, said the lessons learned during training sessions with Yuvraj continue to guide him on the field.

The 25-year-old batter revealed that he trained under Yuvraj Singh during the lockdown period, when the former World Cup winner focused not only on technical skills but also on mental strength. According to Abhishek, Yuvraj repeatedly stressed the importance of delivering in crucial matches and building the temperament required to succeed for India at the highest level.
