Smriti Mandhana Set for Dream Wedding with Palash Muchhal in Sangli

Smriti Mandhana to marry composer Palash Muchhal in hometown wedding.

Indian women’s cricket vice-captain and T20I skipper Smriti Mandhana, 29, is reportedly preparing to exchange vows with music composer-director Palash Muchhal, 30, on November 20 in an intimate yet grand ceremony in her hometown of Sangli, Maharashtra. According to a Times of India report, the wedding festivities will commence on the same date, blending traditional Maharashtrian rituals with star-studded glamour. The couple, who began dating in 2019, publicly confirmed their relationship last year through a subtle Instagram post by Palash featuring Mandhana alongside the Indian team—captioned simply with “5 ❤️.”

Palash Muchhal, younger brother of renowned Bollywood playback singer Palak Muchhal, has carved his own niche in the entertainment industry. The multifaceted artist has composed over 40 music videos for labels like T-Series, Zee Music, and Pal Music, and made his acting debut as a lead in Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama *Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey* (2010) opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. He has also directed the web series *Rickshaw* and is currently helming the feature film *Ardh*, starring Rajpal Yadav and Rubina Dilaik.

Amid her stellar cricketing commitments—including leading India in the ongoing 2025 ICC Women’s World Cup—Mandhana remains the highest-paid player in Women’s Premier League history. Royal Challengers Bengaluru retained her for a record ₹3.40 crore ahead of the 2025 season, underscoring her dominance as one of the world’s premier batters. Sources close to the couple reveal that wedding preparations are underway discreetly, with the cricketer balancing national duty and personal milestones.
