Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer rents premium Worli apartment.
Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer has signed a high-value lease for a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Worli area, with the deal reportedly spanning three years and a total rental value of around ₹7.14 crore. The information was confirmed through property registration details accessed via the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) records, as reported by Square Yards.
The apartment is located in the premium Artesia residential project in Worli and spans approximately 360 square metres (around 3,875 square feet). It includes high-end amenities along with four dedicated parking spaces. The monthly rent for the property starts at ₹18.50 lakh, placing it among the most expensive rental agreements in Mumbai’s luxury real estate market.
According to the lease structure, the rent will increase annually by around 7 percent over the three-year period. This means the monthly rent is expected to rise to approximately ₹19.79 lakh in the second year and ₹21.18 lakh in the third year. The cumulative rental value across the full term of the agreement is estimated at ₹7.14 crore, excluding additional charges and deposits.

The agreement also includes significant upfront payments, including a security deposit of ₹74 lakh, along with stamp duty of ₹1.84 lakh and registration charges of ₹1,000. The deal reflects the growing trend of high-net-worth individuals and celebrities opting for premium rental properties in Mumbai’s most sought-after residential zones.
Shreyas Iyer, who currently leads India’s T20I setup, has been a prominent figure in Indian cricket and has recently seen a resurgence in his career after a period of injury setbacks and exclusion from major squads. His return to form has been marked by consistent performances and increased responsibility within the national team structure.
The move to Worli places him in one of Mumbai’s most elite neighbourhoods, known for its sea-facing luxury apartments and proximity to key business districts. The development adds to a growing list of Indian cricketers investing in or leasing premium real estate in Mumbai as their professional stature and earnings continue to rise.
