Saudi Arabia Unveils World Cricket Festival 2025 with F2 Double Wicket World Cup, GCC Leagues Under Vision 2030
Saudi Arabia has officially launched the World Cricket Festival (WCF) 2025 in Riyadh, marking a major step in its Vision 2030 plan to establish the Kingdom as a global sports and entertainment hub, with the event set for November in Jeddah.
The four-day festival will feature the F2 Double Wicket World Cup with 10 international teams, innovative rules like Super Sub, and evening concerts and cultural showcases, aiming to blend cricket with family entertainment and attract a broad audience.
Through the Cricket Investment Company (CIC), partnered with Infinix Holding Ltd, Saudi Arabia plans to expand grassroots cricket, launch franchise leagues such as TX Arabia and the Saudi Corporate Premier League, and build a sustainable industry with projected revenues of SAR 51.6 million in the first year.

This initiative not only fosters community engagement and talent development but also positions the Kingdom as a year-round cricket destination, drawing on successful past events like the Saudi Foundation Day Cup to enhance its global sporting profile.
