RCB Tickets Live for March 28 IPL Match vs SRH at M Chinnaswamy Stadium
RCB opens digital ticket sales for IPL 2026 home opener vs SRH; tickets double as free metro passes.
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have opened ticket sales for their first home game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season, marking their debut as defending champions at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Last season, RCB clinched their maiden IPL title by defeating Punjab Kings in the final, with Virat Kohli scoring 43 runs and Krunal Pandya taking 2 wickets for 17 runs to earn the player of the match award.
The franchise’s first-ever trophy parade ended in tragedy, with 11 deaths and over 30 injuries outside the stadium, prompting the Karnataka State Cricket Association to temporarily bar the venue from hosting matches. Since then, RCB has invested in enhanced safety measures and secured approval to host five home games this season, including the March 28 opener against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Tickets are being sold exclusively through the official RCB website (shop.royalchallengers.com) and the RCB mobile app. Fans must complete a digital KYC using a government-issued ID before booking, and each user is limited to a maximum of four tickets. No physical tickets will be issued; all confirmations are digital, with QR codes appearing a few hours prior to gate opening. Key details like entry gate, inner gate, stand, row, and seat number will be displayed on the digital ticket.

RCB has urged fans to avoid fraudulent ticketing sites and to carefully check the gate information printed on their tickets. Stadium entry will be permitted only through Cubbon Road, Link Road, and MG Road, while Queens Road access is limited to certain Pavilion stands.
As a convenience for supporters, all ticket holders can use their digital ticket as a metro pass on matchday to travel to and from the stadium. The move aims to streamline access and reduce congestion, ensuring a safe and smooth experience for fans attending the season opener.
With safety protocols in place and digital ticketing fully implemented, RCB looks set to welcome spectators back to the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium as they defend their IPL crown in what promises to be a high-energy start to the 2026 season.
