Pro10 Malaysia Cricket Tournament Postponed to After T20 World Cup

The Pro10 Malaysia cricket tournament, initially scheduled from 30 January to 2 February at Bayuemas Oval in Selangor, has been officially postponed due to logistical challenges. Organizers confirmed that the tournament will now be held after the conclusion of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka, with new dates to be announced in due course.

The Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) has expressed full support for the decision, citing the need to resolve operational concerns and ensure a seamless event. Stakeholders, including players, match officials, and tournament staff, have reportedly shown understanding and cooperation regarding the postponement.

In addition to the rescheduling, the tournament format has been updated. Originally set to feature three teams, the Pro10 Malaysia will now include four sides, aimed at creating a more competitive and engaging competition for fans and participants alike.

The tournament has attracted significant attention from the international cricketing community. First announced in November 2025, the Pro10 Malaysia tournament was positioned as a platform to showcase top-tier cricket in the region. Despite the delay, the MCA remains optimistic, emphasizing that the rescheduled event will provide a thrilling experience for fans and players alike.
