The Meghalaya Cricket Association has unveiled a formidable 25-member probables list for the senior women’s team, setting the stage for a thrilling 2025 domestic season. Leading the pack is star batter and captain Luiza Tamang, renowned for her consistent top-order performances. She’s joined by standout middle-order batter Daiaka E Warjri and versatile all-rounder Neha Hajong, both key players in recent seasons.
Rising talents Suruti Kumari Ray and Ankita Sharma, who shone last season, add firepower to the squad. The list, featuring names like Debasmita Dutta, Ruby Chettri, and Solina Jaba, will be whittled down to a 15-member team in early September. Other promising players include Indariakor Kharwanniang, Mansi Anand, and Sistilin Ryntathiang, showcasing Meghalaya’s deep talent pool.
The team will kick off the season with the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy on October 8, followed by the One-Day meet starting February 6. With a blend of experience and youth, Meghalaya’s women are poised to make waves in Indian cricket.
