India vs New Zealand 2026 Series Schedule Released with Full Venues and Squad Updates
New Zealand tours India for 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is from Jan 11-31, 2026.
New Zealand will tour India in January 2026 for an exciting limited-overs series, featuring three ODIs and five T20Is between Jan. 11 and Jan. 31. The 50-over leg of the tour will attract attention due to the return of legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, while the T20I series will serve as crucial preparation for India ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, starting February 7.
India have experienced mixed results in ODIs this season, including a 1-2 loss to Australia in October followed by a home series win against South Africa in November. Despite resting key players like Jasprit Bumrah and missing captain Shubman Gill and deputy Shreyas Iyer, India won matches in Ranchi and Visakhapatnam, showcasing depth in the squad.
In T20Is, India dominated South Africa 3-1, with strong performances in Cuttack, Dharamshala, and Ahmedabad. The team faced challenges in Mullanpur, and the Lucknow fixture was abandoned due to fog. The selectors have made adjustments for the New Zealand series, bringing back Ishan Kishan and power-hitter Rinku Singh, while including Jitesh Sharma for added options behind the stumps.
