Australia U-19, resuming their second innings at 8/1, faced an uphill battle to avoid defeat. However, they collapsed to 127 all out in 49.3 overs, unable to counter India’s disciplined bowling attack. Medium pacer Deepesh Devendran led the charge, claiming three wickets to add to his five-wicket haul in the first innings. Kishan Kumar, Khilan Patel, and Anmoljeet Singh shared the remaining wickets, dismantling the Australian batting lineup with precision.
India’s commanding position was built on a formidable first innings, driven by centuries from Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Vedant Trivedi. Their substantial contributions ensured India only needed to bat once, posting a total that Australia could not overcome. The visitors’ all-round performance highlighted their depth and talent, setting a strong tone for the series.
