Hardik Pandya Gets Matching Leopard Tattoo to Honour Strength in Relationship with Mahieka
Hardik Pandya debuts nape tattoo of two leopards symbolising strength and love with Mahieka Sharma.
Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya has unveiled a deeply personal tattoo dedicated to his girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma, marking a symbolic Valentine’s Day gesture that has quickly drawn attention online.
The artwork, created at Aliens Tattoo, evolved from what was initially planned as a simple “M” initial on Pandya’s nape. According to the creative team, discussions about the couple’s relationship led to a more layered and meaningful concept that reflects their partnership and individual strengths.
The final design features two leopards — one bold and realistic, representing visible strength, ambition, and drive, while the other appears in flowing linework, moving like a shadow around the first. Within the curved lines of the second leopard, Mahieka’s initial “M” is subtly embedded, symbolising unity without loss of individuality.

Celebrity tattoo artist Sunny Bhanushali, who conceptualised the piece along with his team, said the design was shaped through emotional conversations with the couple. He described the leopard as a fitting metaphor for two strong individuals who amplify each other’s power while remaining distinct personalities.
The tattoo was executed by lead artist Tushar Marane, known for detailed realism work. The placement on the nape was deliberately chosen to keep the artwork intimate — subtle when covered but striking when visible.
Pandya’s latest body art adds to his collection of meaningful tattoos and reflects a growing trend among athletes using personal symbolism in body art. The cricketer has not publicly commented further, but the gesture has already generated buzz among fans on social media.
