A light-hearted moment involving former India captain MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni has gone viral on social media following India’s thrilling victory over the England national cricket team in the semi-final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The incident occurred during the tense closing stages of the match at the Wankhede Stadium, where Dhoni was watching the game from the stands.

During England’s late surge in the run chase, Sakshi Dhoni briefly celebrated what she believed was a wicket for India. However, the appeal did not result in a dismissal, prompting Dhoni to calmly gesture to her and say, 'Baith Jao' (Sit down). The moment, captured on camera and widely circulated online, amused fans, who praised the former captain’s trademark composure even in a tense match situation.

India eventually secured a narrow seven-run victory over England in a high-scoring encounter.
