The India Women’s cricket team continued their quest for a historic series win in Australia with a strong batting display in the third T20 International against the hosts at Adelaide Oval. Smriti Mandhana played a commanding innings, scoring 82 off 55 balls before being dismissed by Australia’s Alana Sutherland.

India started cautiously after losing opener Shafali Verma early for 7 runs, removed by Australia’s Kim Garth in the second over. Despite the early setback, the middle order stabilised the innings, building partnerships that kept India firmly in control of the chase.

Jemimah Rodrigues impressed with her fluent strokeplay and was approaching a well-deserved half-century. Her steady innings helped anchor the chase while maintaining a healthy scoring rate against a strong Australian bowling attack.
