Harbhajan Singh Warns Ex-Pak Player: Stop Nonsense or Face "Dhajjiya Uda Dungaa"

Harbhajan Singh lambasts former Pakistan cricketer Tanvir Ahmed for insinuating remarks, warning him to stop or face consequences.

Former Indian Cricketer Harbhajan Singh unleashed a scathing verbal attack on ex-Pakistan pacer Tanvir Ahmed in a recent video posted on his YouTube channel. The outburst came in response to remarks made by Ahmed during an interview, where he allegedly suggested that Harbhajan frequently "roams around" with Pakistani cricketers, a comment Harbhajan deemed insinuating and blown out of proportion from his time as a broadcaster in the ILT20.

Harbhajan, known for his fiery personality both on and off the field, questioned Tanvir Ahmed's credentials and stature in the sport. He pointed out that Ahmed, who played only a handful of international matches for Pakistan between 2010 and 2013—including five Tests, two ODIs, and one T20I—has no right to make such claims. Comparing him unfavorably to Pakistan's legendary figures like Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, and Waqar Younis, Harbhajan expressed disdain, stating that respected players from Pakistan do not indulge in such talk.

The former off-spinner warned Ahmed to "stop talking nonsense" and maintain respect, threatening strong repercussions if similar comments were repeated. In his characteristically blunt style, Harbhajan said, "The next time it happens, teri dhajjiya uda dunga (I'll destroy you). So get lost." He emphasized the difference in achievements between players with substantial careers and those with limited exposure, dismissing Ahmed's opinions as baseless chatter from someone seeking attention on low-profile platforms.

This exchange highlights the lingering sensitivities in India-Pakistan cricketing relations, often amplified through media and social platforms. Harbhajan's response, delivered amid ongoing discussions around bilateral cricket ties and events like the T20 World Cup, underscores his intolerance for perceived disrespect toward his professional conduct and friendships in the cricketing world.

The incident has sparked reactions across social media and cricket circles, with clips from the video circulating widely. While Harbhajan has a history of outspoken commentary, this particular tirade serves as a reminder of the passion and occasional friction that define cross-border cricketing narratives, even years after retirement.
