#BreakingNews: Delhi Police Arrest Two Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Members After Shootout
Delhi Police arrested two Lawrence Bishnoi gang-linked sharpshooters after a shootout, seizing pistols; one accused injured.
In a dramatic confrontation in North Delhi, police arrested two alleged shooters connected to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The encounter occurred near Hiranki Mor, following intelligence that the suspects were planning to operate in the area. During the attempt to intercept the suspects, the two opened fire on the police, prompting a retaliatory response. One of the accused sustained a bullet injury in his leg, while his associate was apprehended on the spot. A constable narrowly escaped harm when a bullet struck his bulletproof jacket.
Authorities revealed that the suspects were involved in a series of violent incidents, including a recent firing at a gym in outer Delhi and an attack on a businessman in Vinod Nagar. The latter incident involved shots fired to demand extortion money, highlighting the gang’s increasing brazenness.

The North Delhi Anti-Narcotics team, acting on credible information, had laid a strategic trap to intercept the suspects. The swift police operation ensured that no civilians were harmed during the shootout, underscoring the efficiency of the law enforcement response. Two pistols along with live cartridges were recovered from the accused, who have been taken into custody for further interrogation. Officials confirmed that the injured suspect is stable and receiving treatment in a nearby hospital.
Police have intensified their crackdown on organized crime in Delhi, particularly focusing on gangs involved in extortion and targeted attacks. Authorities warned that those involved in such violent activities will face strict action under the law.
