Scindia Inaugurates NDMC Health Center on PM's Birthday, Launches Mega Health Camp

Scindia praises PM Modi’s solutions at NDMC health initiative launch.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a transformative leader who not only identifies grassroots issues but also delivers impactful solutions, setting a historic precedent in Indian governance.

Speaking at the inauguration of the New Delhi Municipal Council’s (NDMC) Ayushman Arogya Mandir on Babar Road, Scindia highlighted Modi’s commitment to actionable change during an event celebrating the Prime Minister’s 75th birthday. The minister also launched a mega health camp as part of the Centre’s 15-day Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar campaign, aimed at enhancing women’s health and nutrition across the nation.

Joined by Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Scindia emphasized Modi’s focus on women’s empowerment as a cornerstone of India’s development. “For the first time, we have a Prime Minister who doesn’t just raise ground-level problems but ensures their solutions,” Scindia said, citing the distribution of over 50 crore affordable sanitary pads at Re 1 each through Jan Aushadhi Kendras. This initiative, he noted, has revolutionized access to women’s healthcare, addressing a critical need with affordability and scale.

Scindia stressed that India’s progress hinges on empowering its women, who constitute half the population. “We cannot achieve our national goals without their active participation,” he said, commending Delhi’s leadership under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta as a shining example of women driving change. The NDMC’s efforts align with this vision, as it observes Sewa Pakhwara from September 17 to October 2, a period dedicated to promoting health, cleanliness, and social welfare initiatives in honor of Modi’s birthday.
