Lionel Messi Adds Hyderabad to GOAT India Tour Before Mumbai and Delhi Stops

Messi confirms Hyderabad visit on December 13, joining Kolkata, Mumbai, and Delhi for his India tour next month.

Football legend Lionel Messi has officially included Hyderabad as a stop in his highly anticipated GOAT India Tour scheduled for December 2025. Following a popular demand and official announcements from Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, Hyderabad will host Messi on the evening of December 13, just hours after his event in Kolkata on the same day. This addition completes a pan-India tour spanning East, South, West, and North with Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Delhi as host cities.

Messi shared the update via Instagram, expressing gratitude for the warm welcome from Indian fans and excitement for the upcoming trip. The GOAT Tour will officially kick off in Kolkata, where Messi will be seen participating in various fan engagements before moving to Hyderabad for an evening football clinic, exhibition match, and a musical tribute celebrating the Argentine icon. Tickets for the Hyderabad leg went live on November 28 at noon and feature young football talents competing alongside Messi in a 7v7 exhibition.

Hyderabad replaced earlier proposed stops like Ahmedabad and Kerala, which were canceled for logistical reasons. The tour promises a unique blend of sporting events, cultural performances, and opportunities for fans to interact with the football maestro. Mumbai will host the next leg on December 14, followed by the grand finale in New Delhi on December 15, wrapping up with high-profile celebrations and meetings.
