Cricket’s rising stars took center stage as eight emerging nations, including Nepal, Bhutan, and the USA, bagged top honors at the 2024 ICC Development Awards, announced during the ICC’s annual board meeting in Singapore.
USA Cricket stole the spotlight, winning the Associate Member Men's Team Performance of the Year award for their stunning run in the T20 World Cup — including a jaw-dropping upset over Pakistan that made headlines worldwide and brought cricket into the American mainstream.
Meanwhile, Nepal dazzled in the digital arena, clinching the Digital Fan Engagement of the Year award for racking up an astonishing 117 million online reach across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and their domestic fan pages.

Bhutan shared the spotlight with Vanuatu, as both nations jointly took home the Female Cricket Initiative of the Year award — marking the first time two boards have shared this honor.
