A video featuring Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has gone viral on social media after an unpleasant interaction with a fan outside a restaurant on Christmas Eve. The cricketer was seen leaving the venue with his girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma, when the incident took place, drawing widespread attention online.
In the clip, Hardik is first seen courteously helping Mahieka into their car before pausing to take selfies with fans gathered outside. As he attempted to leave, some fans continued to request more photographs. Visibly trying to manage the situation, Hardik remarked that enough pictures had already been taken.
The situation escalated when one fan used an offensive remark, telling Hardik to “go to hell.” Despite the provocation, the Indian star chose not to react, maintaining his composure and leaving the scene calmly. His mature response has since been praised by many on social media.

Away from the viral moment, Hardik Pandya recently made a strong impact on the field during India’s five-match T20I series against South Africa. Playing under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, India secured a convincing 3–1 series victory, with Hardik playing a key role.
In the final T20I, Hardik smashed a 16-ball half-century—the second-fastest by an Indian in T20 internationals—and scored 63 runs off just 25 balls. He also picked up a crucial wicket, further cementing his all-round performance and surpassing Yuvraj Singh’s record for the most T20I matches featuring both a fifty and a wicket for India.
Marking a successful return to international cricket, Hardik finished the series as India’s third-highest run-scorer with 142 runs in three innings at an impressive average and strike rate. The contrast between his calm off-field demeanor and explosive on-field performances has once again highlighted his importance to the Indian team.
