Georgina Rodriguez Wore $75 Million Chopard Jewellery for Ronaldo Wedding

Georgina Rodriguez reportedly wore Chopard high jewellery worth around $75 million, or approximately ₹7.18 billion, for her wedding to football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in Portugal. The Spanish-Argentine model and influencer paired the extravagant jewellery with a custom white Gucci suit designed with a deliberately understated look. The outfit was also a tribute to the Madrid Gucci boutique where she and Ronaldo first met around a decade ago.

Jewellery content creator Julia Chafe highlighted the scale and history of Rodriguez’s wedding jewellery in an Instagram video shared on August 17. According to Chafe, the pieces came from Chopard’s celebrated Garden of Kalahari collection, which has previously been worn by international stars including Beyoncé and Rihanna. Beyoncé famously wore jewellery from the collection at the Met Gala, adding to the significance and celebrity history associated with the pieces.

Chafe explained that the Garden of Kalahari collection originated from a large natural diamond rough discovered at the Karowe mine in Botswana. The rough was reportedly acquired by Chopard and transformed into multiple polished diamonds used across the collection. The jewellery worn by Rodriguez featured three prominent stones, including a 50-carat round diamond, a 25-carat pear-shaped diamond and a 26-carat heart-shaped diamond. The three pendants are reportedly detachable, although Rodriguez chose to wear only the 50-carat round diamond pendant during the wedding.

Her jewellery choices extended beyond the ceremony itself. On the morning of her wedding, Rodriguez was reportedly seen wearing a bracelet featuring two emerald-cut diamonds weighing 21 carats and 14.7 carats. Chafe drew attention to the unusual pairing of high jewellery with Rodriguez’s workout routine, describing the sight as an example of the extravagant approach surrounding the wedding celebrations.

Rodriguez was also photographed poolside before the ceremony wearing another selection of luxury pieces. She combined a multi-strand Chopard diamond necklace with a diamond-encrusted watch and her large engagement ring while dressed casually in a bath towel and sunglasses. The contrast between the relaxed setting and the high-value jewellery added another striking element to her wedding-day fashion coverage.

The reported $75 million valuation has not been independently verified, and the figures and details cited in the discussion originate from social media content. Nevertheless, Rodriguez’s wedding look attracted significant attention because of the combination of a minimalist white Gucci suit and exceptionally rare high jewellery. By keeping the clothing relatively understated while making the diamonds the centrepiece, she created a bridal appearance defined more by jewellery than by a traditional elaborate wedding gown.
