According to Vogue, Ronaldo first met Rodríguez in August 2016 when he visited the Madrid Gucci store with his six-year-old son, Cristiano Jr. Rodríguez, who was then 22, had recently returned to Spain after working as an au pair in England and was working as a sales assistant at the store. She was reportedly filling in for a colleague that day, even though she was not originally scheduled to work.
