#BreakingNews: Iran Strikes US And Australian Military Bases in Dubai Amid Gulf Escalation

Iran struck US and Australian military facilities near Dubai amid the widening Gulf conflict.

Fresh strikes have been reported in Dubai amid escalating tensions in the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel, with facilities linked to American and Australian forces allegedly coming under attack. According to emerging reports, Iran targeted a building in Dubai believed to be associated with US forces. However, there has been no independent confirmation regarding the exact nature of the structure, the scale of damage, or whether it was an operational military installation at the time of the strike.

A viral video circulating on social media appears to show a drone flying over a cluster of buildings before locking onto a specific structure, followed by an explosion. The authenticity of the footage has not been independently verified, and no official details have been released confirming casualties or structural losses. Iranian officials have previously stated that their operations in the Gulf region are aimed exclusively at American military assets, though the broader implications of the strikes remain unclear.

Separately, Iran is reported to have targeted the Australian military facility at Al Minhad near Dubai. Australia’s Defence Minister Richard Marles confirmed that Iranian forces struck Al Minhad Air Base, where Australian personnel are stationed. He stated that all deployed troops are “safe and accounted for", seeking to reassure families and the public amid rising concerns. Marles noted that more than 100 Australian personnel are deployed across the Middle East, with the majority based in the United Arab Emirates.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) earlier announced that it was carrying out strikes against US bases and assets under an operation named “Truthful Promise 4". The statement described the campaign as a response to attacks launched against Iran on February 28 by the United States and Israel. The latest developments suggest that Gulf nations hosting Western troops may increasingly find themselves exposed as hostilities widen.

In addition to Dubai, Iran has reportedly launched attacks targeting sites in Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait, all of which host American military bases. The United States maintains approximately 13 military bases across the Middle East, with an estimated 30,000 to 40,000 troops deployed in the region under normal circumstances. These installations serve as key logistical and operational hubs for US and allied forces.

The situation underscores the growing volatility in the Gulf, a region critical to global energy supplies and international security. As diplomatic channels struggle to contain the escalation, governments across the region are monitoring developments closely. With no comprehensive assessment of damage or casualties yet publicly available, the full impact of the reported strikes in Dubai and at Al Minhad Air Base remains to be determined.
