Vandana Kumari Tops RBSE Class 10 With 99.33%, Sets Bharatpur Milestone

Vandana Kumari achieved 99.33% in RBSE Class 10 exams, outshining students statewide.

The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, declared the Class 10 examination results for 2026 on March 24, highlighting strong academic performances across the state. Among the top achievers, Vandana Kumari from Bharatpur emerged as one of the highest scorers, securing an impressive 99.33 per cent. The announcement brought relief and celebration for lakhs of students and their families who had been awaiting the results.

Vandana Kumari, a student of Soni Academy Senior Secondary School in Bharatpur, has drawn widespread attention for her exceptional achievement. Her performance not only brought pride to her school but also added recognition to the Bharatpur district. Teachers and peers praised her dedication, discipline, and commitment to academic excellence, describing her as a focused and hard-working student.

Speaking about her success, Vandana credited her parents and teachers for their continuous support and encouragement throughout her academic journey. She emphasized the importance of consistency, proper planning, and regular study habits in achieving high scores. Her accomplishment has inspired many students in the region, serving as a reminder of what sustained effort and determination can achieve.

The overall results for the Class 10 examinations indicate a high pass percentage this year, with girls outperforming boys. According to official data, the pass percentage for boys stands at 93.63 per cent, while girls recorded a higher rate of 94.90 per cent. A total of approximately 10.68 lakh students appeared for the examinations, which were conducted between February 12 and February 28 across various centres in Rajasthan.

In terms of division-wise results, over 2.72 lakh boys and 2.83 lakh girls secured first division marks, reflecting a strong academic trend across the state. To pass the RBSE Class 10 examinations, students were required to obtain at least 33 per cent marks in each subject along with a minimum aggregate of 33 per cent. Those who did not meet the criteria in one or two subjects will have the opportunity to appear for supplementary examinations.

In addition to Class 10 results, the board also announced outcomes for Class 5 and Class 8 examinations. The Class 8 exams were conducted from February 19 to March 4, while Class 5 exams took place from February 20 to March 5. More than 26 lakh students participated in these exams, further underlining the scale of school-level assessments managed by the Rajasthan board each year.
