TVK Chief Emphasizes Hope and Direction Through Rising New Light
TVK chief promises new guiding light for harmony.
Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) President Vijay delivered a keynote address at the party's 'Samathuva Christmas' celebrations, organized at a private hotel near Mahabalipuram on Monday. He articulated that genuine faith promotes societal harmony and encourages respect for differing religious convictions across communities. Vijay reiterated the TVK's firm dedication to upholding social and religious unity, declaring that no compromises would be made on these foundational principles.
In his speech, Vijay referenced the biblical narrative of Joseph, who endured betrayal by his siblings yet ascended to a position of authority as ruler of the land, subtly alluding to contemporary parallels that resonated with the gathered audience. He described love and kindness as the bedrock of human existence, characterizing Tamil Nadu as a nurturing territory infused with maternal compassion, where equality among all individuals prevails without distinction.
Vijay emphasized the distinctive cultural fabric of the state, noting how residents collectively observe diverse festivals including Pongal, Deepavali, Ramzan, and Christmas, thereby fostering shared joy and inclusivity irrespective of individual traditions. He underscored that variations in lifestyles and modes of worship do not diminish the overarching sense of brotherhood that binds the populace together in mutual understanding.
