Trump’s Son Visits India’s 3,000-Acre Vantara Wildlife Sanctuary in Gujarat

Trump Jr tours Reliance wildlife sanctuary in Jamnagar.

Donald Trump Jr, the eldest son of United States President Donald Trump, arrived in Jamnagar, Gujarat, on Thursday for an exclusive behind-the-scenes visit to Vantara, the breathtaking 3,000-acre wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centre that has rapidly become one of the world’s most ambitious private conservation projects, personally guided by its founder and Reliance Industries director Anant Ambani.

At the direct invitation of the Ambani family, the American businessman and political influencer spent several hours exploring the sprawling sanctuary that shelters more than 2,000 rescued animals representing over 200 species, including African and Asian elephants, lions, tigers, leopards, crocodiles, and rare reptiles, many of them saved from circuses, illegal trade, and disaster zones across continents, all under cutting-edge veterinary care and naturalistic habitats.

Accompanied throughout by Anant Ambani himself, Trump Jr toured the state-of-the-art veterinary hospitals equipped with hyperbaric oxygen chambers, hydrotherapy pools, and advanced diagnostic laboratories, as well as the expansive green zones and enrichment areas designed to mimic the animals’ natural environments, reportedly expressing astonishment at the scale and meticulous detail of an initiative that has quietly attracted global conservation experts since its soft launch earlier this year.

After the immersive wildlife experience, the duo visited prominent ancient temples in and around Jamnagar, blending spiritual heritage with the day’s focus on compassion and preservation, a gesture that underscored the deep cultural ties the Ambani family sought to showcase during the high-profile guest’s tightly guarded Gujarat leg of his India trip.

The visit, which began earlier in the day with a private sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal in Agra, highlights the strengthening personal rapport between two of the world’s most powerful business dynasties and arrives amid warming India-US relations following recent high-level diplomatic exchanges between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Trump, adding a striking private dimension to the growing strategic partnership.
