Tamil Nadu CM Stalin Calls On DMK IT Wing To Counter Online Attacks

Chief Minister urges party’s digital cadre to strengthen online response against political criticism.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has urged the IT wing cadre of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam to be proactive in countering what he described as misinformation and coordinated attacks against the party in digital spaces.

Addressing party functionaries, Stalin emphasised the growing influence of social media platforms in shaping public perception and political narratives. He called on the IT wing to respond swiftly and factually to allegations directed at the party and its government, stressing the importance of maintaining decorum while engaging online.

The Chief Minister underscored that the digital battlefield has become central to contemporary politics, where narratives can spread rapidly and influence voter sentiment. He advised cadre to rely on verified data and official communications while rebutting claims, and to avoid engaging in personal attacks or unsubstantiated counter-allegations.
