STAND AS ONE!! Rahul's Emphatic Message After Kerala Leaders Meet
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi emphasized the solidarity of the party’s Kerala unit ahead of the 2025 Kerala Assembly Elections.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi emphasized the solidarity of the party’s Kerala unit, stating that its leaders “stand as one, united by the light of purpose ahead.” His remarks followed a strategic meeting of the Congress high command with Kerala leaders on Friday at Indira Bhawan, aimed at charting the course for the 2025 Kerala Assembly elections.
Sharing a photo from a press interaction held after the meeting, Gandhi posted on Facebook, reinforcing the theme of unity with the hashtag #TeamKerala. The nearly three-hour session focused on discipline, organizational strength, and a cohesive political strategy for the state unit. Sources said that Gandhi urged leaders to align strictly with the party line, cautioning against actions or statements that could deviate from it.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge underscored the need for unity and discipline while advocating for filling vacant posts to bolster the Kerala organization. The meeting saw the presence of key figures, including AICC general secretary K.C. Venugopal, Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Kerala Congress chief K. Sudhakaran, CLP leader V.D. Satheesan, Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor, and AICC Kerala in-charge Deepa Dasmunshi.
Speaking to reporters post-meeting, Dasmunshi highlighted the party’s deep emotional and political connection with Kerala’s people, noting their desire for change. “We received a clear directive from the high command to respect the sentiments of Kerala’s people and avoid any missteps,” she said, warning that strong action would follow any personal breaches of this trust. The discussions signal a determined effort by the Congress to unify its ranks and strengthen its foothold in Kerala as the elections approach.
